"Being wheelchair disabled with MS I've used Comcab/London Taxicard many years. Altogether the service has been excellent where I've regularly got to know many local drivers on first name terms.
I've found rogue drivers to be extremely rare but 'out of area' drivers may try to pull a fast one.
Yesterday, with a friend, made a regular journey which normally takes two card swipes ((£10.80 subsidised to £2.50 x 2 = £5). Outgoing was £6 (correct as being £1 over second swipe) However on the return journey the guy asked for £15. I knew this was wrong as the evening traffic on the clock only added an extra £5 Two swipes @@ £5 + £5 = £10.. If this driver is regularly fiddling extra fivers from customers he's 'quids in' isn't he? I confronted him, he waffled his way out but as my friend had already paid he got away with it. Complaint registered."

"Hello, On Dec 20, 2015. I called the Aberdeen ComCab service at 4:00AM and told them to pick me up specifically at 6:30AM. Not only did the driver not show up. I tried calling them and the line was busy. I waited there in front of the pick up spot in front of my dorm and no one ever came FOR 50 minutes. Other taxis were passing by but not mine. By that time I was so late for my destination. I called the operator and they claimed the driver was there and that they had tried to call me. Trying to call me a liar when I was outside waiting since 6:10 AM and I even checked the back and side of the building to see if they were parked there. I finally got through to the operator at 7:20AM and she is telling me lies that my cab had been there and I look at my caller I.d. they called me at 7:15AM. How are they going to be 45 mins late and claim to be on time. That's why I called Rainbow City Taxi in Aberdeen and they came immediately!!! And the funniest part is the Rainbow City Taxi driver remembered seeing me standing outside waiting for the ComCab no show! Never booking with ComCab ever."

"VERBAL ABUSE FROM DRIVER.....
on the 14th October 15 I booked a COMCAB to pick me up and take me home,Some 40 minutes later he arrived,when I went down stairs the driver was in his cab meter running £3.80 and reading the paper,Even though I asked for a low step this was not offered,I use a walking stick and terminally ill,and disabled,I struggled into the cab,
After about 10 minutes into my journey I casually asked the driver if black cabs ran on petrol or Diesal,The driver immediately started hurling abuse at me,example 'I have no right having a COMCAB card,then he said do I know how lucky I am to have this concession and he gives his time for people like me' I felt sick and unsafe.i eventually got home in tears and phoned COMCAB who apologised,that's all they did as if I should accept such abuse..I have tried to work out why COMCAB take so long to arrive is that the majority of drivers feel that they shouldn't have to wait for there fare from the councils, THIS ISNT OUR FAULT AND DOESNT WARRENT SUCH TREATMENT we may be disabled BUT WE ARE HUMAN?"
