Michael's Silver Service Review
"I tried to send my complaint directly to the company with no avail. So to social media I turn. My husband and I were at the end of our holiday travelling from Sydney airport to a local motel. The taxi driver pretends that he is unsure of where the motel is not very convincing as it is very close to the airport. The taxi driver purposely changes lanes so he is unable to continue straight then unsafely makes a u tune to get back on the right road; purposely trying to gain a higher fair. My husband confronts the taxi driver which we then are subjected to a fowl mouth and name calling from him. ''You f... b...'. He then throws our change on the ground continuing with his fowl mouth. Unfortunately for him my husband was having none of his bad behaviour and made him pick up the money and hand it to him in a respectful manner. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and uncalled for. Thanks for nothing T 9915 at 5:55pm."

"Very very discUSTING service with silver service taxis , I got a cab from parramatta to get home (usually a 5 minute drive and always -$10 a fare, I've gotten a lot of taxis in the time and I know the regular pricing) anyway at first the driver was confused about where I told him my address was so I tried to direct him, as he told that he knew where he was going I ended up in a town and street I had no idea where I was (I'm 16 and felt very unsafe with a 40+ year old man in the middle of **** knows) anyway after me telling him to go back and then having to direct him to my address again, because he clearly didn't know his way around or how to use his gps, the fare was up to $20.20c so I kindly said that I'm not paying it, I told him I would give him ten but no more as he wasted my time driving around making the fare higher, he started yelling that I had to pay it, I got out slammed the **** door and told him he needs to learn how to drive, he then PULLS over his cab, gets out and starts yelling out "**** YOU" by the way this is a 40+ year old Indian man yelling at a 16 year old who simply wanted to go home. Pathetic pathetic company, shouldn't even be in buissness I am appalled and will never ever spend my money on a company that s***ty again!"

"ACCIDENT DURING TRIP / UNSAFE DRIVING :
He was a very quiet and pleasant man upon pickup.
However after a couple of concerning actions, I decided to take down his Driver ID on his card on the windshield because :
Initially after picking me up he INDICATED AND NEARLY TURNED UP A ONE WAY ROAD (Darlinghurst Rd, from my address on Liverpool Street) - Which I passed off as just confusion.
Then whilst driving he's CROSSING/DRIFTING (UN-INDICATED) INTO LANES next to him and RUNNING RED LIGHTS.
Just as I finished taking down his details on my phone whilst travelling from South Dowling Street onto the Eastern Distributor M1 Motorway toward Domestic Airport - he moves into the right lane on Southern Cross Drive, preparing to take the Joyce Rd turnoff..
Not paying attention to banked up traffic in the right hand lane (Our lane) he comes up behind them WAY too fast (somewhere between 60-80Km/h), slams on the brakes, realises he'll hit them, swerves into the middle lane where another driver collides with the rear left-hand side of his car.. This poor driver must have pulled to his left too as I heard a screech. IT SCARED THE ABSOLUTE CRAP OUT OF ME!
Had we hit that traffic... It "could have been disastrous" as the driver put it. After exchanging details with a very angry driver, he PULLS OUT WITH HIS HAZARDS ON almost hitting other cars and people beeping at him - he turned them off once I told him, the man clearly in a bit of shock.
The car still ran, however was beeping with some kind of warning and he continues to take me to the airport.. My main concern was him and his ability to drive after such an ordeal - which I did ask if he was ok!
This IS NOT ACCEPTABLE and is honestly very out of character for Silver Service, who I always rely upon for work.
Fare came to nearly $49, he charged me $45 plus service fee...
He DID NOT PAUSE the meter while exchanging details however so maybe that's why he took a couple of $$$ off... I just wanted out of that car..
I do feel sorry for the man, he seemed very nice, assumably very tired? but clearly not fit to be driving when he picked me up.
Honestly one of the worst Taxi experiences of my life..
What might my options be in this case?? I would hope someone looks into this gentleman and make sure he's ok. I also don't think I should be charged full fare for this"

"Took a silver taxi from 251 Broadway, Glebe to 34 Wentworth St, Glebe, when I told the driver the destination he corrected me said that it was 34 Wentworth Avenue not street, I was just stayed here few days for my holiday so I didn't familiar with the street here. I just roughly told him the direction. when we were near the place I live I told him to make a U turn cuz he just passed our apartment. The driver then became angry and said I'm the one who misleading him. Then stopped the car and shouted to us"get out get out get out". I told him that he need to send us home, he said I was wasting his time and shouted "get out" again. When I tried to ask his ID he threatened us said he gonna send us back to the place he picked us up. I forced him to stop the car and took a photo of his license, he was still shouting to us with F word and took a photo of me as well. What a horrible experience. Everything in Sydney was nice except tonight. Hope the Silver Service would do something about it. Really disappointed!!! (GR 3515, this might be his ID)"
